Mauser Prices Are Increasing

Because the world is finally running out of Mauser 98 Karbines.

This can be a Good Thing for You, especially if you take action now:
First, if you buy now, your Mauser will soon be worth more than you paid; and Second, the Mausers you have in your collection have increased in value, again; and soon they will probably go up some more.

German K98k Nazi Mauser rifles have recently increased the most -- and they will continue to increase in the future. Right now we still have some bargains with Accessory Paks.

Mauser 24/47's are currently the Best Bargain available. A pre-Nazi, Military-new Mauser Karbine in Excellent condition with an interesting history. But Don't Wait! We can say with authority that these prices will also be forced up pretty soon, because there are only a few left in the world that are as good as these.

Right Now, when you purchase your Mauser, you'll also receive an Accessory Pak FREE! Depending on the model, you'll save as much as $350.00. If you wait longer, we'll be running out of Accessory Pak components, which means the accessory pak will not save you as much money. That effectively increases the price a little bit every month or so. Then, after a little while, the Price of the rifle itself will also go up.

Bottom Line:  Get your Mauser now, or pay more later!
So, Call Us Now at 800-274-4124.

BUT . . .   Wait a minute! (you say).
That's NOT Right! Do you really mean there are no more Mausers??!!?

Yes.  For all practical purposes, that is true, unless you have unlimited funds to spend later on a Mauser. We are at the end of an era.

Search for Mausers
Mitchell searching for Mausers in a formerly Communist warehouse somewhere in Eastern Europe.
Brrr.. this one was very cold.

For years now, we have been using all of our family, political and business connections in the search for WWII-era, collectible Mauser rifles, Curios and Relics, for import to the United States to preserve history for Americans. Our ‘elves’ have fanned out all over Germany and Eastern and Western Europe searching for quality Mauser 98 Karbines.

To our dismay, we have found that the military warehouses, even in areas where few Americans have trod, have now been picked clean of quality rifles by our ‘elves’. We have emptied their warehouses. There are simply no more quantities of 98 Mausers large enough to be brought to America economically.

As the premier importer of Mauser rifles, you can believe us when we say: There are No More!    But you can check it out for yourself. Just look around and you'll see that high-quality Mauser 98 Karbines are hard to find.

What Happened to All the Mausers?

Actually, especially in the case of German K98k's, we are fortunate that a quirk of history preserved these rifles and made them available to us up until today. When WWII ended about 65 years ago, the victors took control of the surviving K98k's. Within a couple of decades, the Western Allies had largely disposed of their surplus inventories; but the Communist governments of Eastern Europe maintained their captured Mausers combat ready. Only a communist government would have spent their limited resources maintaining rifles that were out-of date when compared with the modern automatic battle rifle. Never-the-less, that is what they did, until the Iron curtain fell, the Soviet Union broke up, and Communism suffered the death it deserved. These rifles were still being actively preserved as late as 2009.

The newly independent countries of Eastern Europe were extremely cash hungry. They eagerly sold their Mauser rifles, and the American collector enjoyed a new season of beautiful, collectable Mausers at bargain prices. But that was a long time ago. It has been 20 years since the Iron Curtain fell, and now the Mausers that had been so carefully preserved have all been sold. The old communist warehouses are empty.

Why Does the Price Go Up So Much?

Perhaps we held the price too low for too long -- at least that is what our bean-counters tell us.

Besides the normal forces of supply and demand, we have to contend with inflation, the falling dollar, increased regulation, paranoid customs officials, ever-increasing restrictions from Washington and former communist officials demanding more and more money for the very few remaining rifles.

When we could import a whole container at one time, the cost per rifle was lower. Now, we are only able to locate and ship very small quantities. This forces every rifle to be much more expensive.

For years our advertising has clearly warned of the approaching end. The prices are jumping up a lot now, and they will continue to increase more later. Do yourself a favor. Act now, before it is too late.

Does that mean Mitchell’s Mausers Will No Longer Have Mausers?

ZF-41 Mauser Sniper
Several ZF41-K98k German Snipers are in the Mitchell Special Collection. These are the authentic, original ZF41 rifles with the original factory-installed, non-removable mount bases. These are the bases that work as intended, unlike removable bases. Very special. Very Rare.

Not at all!  We will continue to deliver Mausers to our happy customers, just as we have in years past, but not at the old prices. In fact, at the moment, in addition to our normal Mauser offerings, Mr. Mitchell has amassed a select group of especially collectable, one-of-a-kind K98’s from WWI and WWII, including special snipers, battle anniversary pieces, and Mausers with unique pedigrees.

It is just that bargain prices on historically collectable pieces will no longer be possible.  If you or any of your friends were thinking about getting a WWII German K98k, now is the time to get it.

Also, there some Mausers that have not yet gone up in price, other members of the Mauser 98 Karbine family that will also go way up in price in the near future -- Non-Nazi Mausers such as the M24, M24/47, M48, G29 -- all true-blooded K98 Mausers, each with its own interesting history. Call us for details.
